Social Ascension LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Circassian App mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Account information: If you create an account, we collect your email address and username.
- Usage data: Lesson progress, quiz results, streaks, and feature usage to improve your experience and sync your progress across devices.
- Device information: Device type, operating system, and app version for analytics and troubleshooting.
- Purchase information: If you make an in-app purchase (subscription or lifetime unlock), the transaction is processed by Apple or Google. We do not store payment card details.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide and improve the App and its features
- Save and sync your learning progress
- Process and restore in-app purchases
- Send optional notifications about streaks and learning reminders (you may disable these at any time)
- Analyze usage patterns to improve content and performance
- Respond to support requests
3. Data Storage and Security
Your progress data is stored securely on our servers. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
4. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services, which have their own privacy policies:
- Apple App Store / Google Play: In-app purchase processing
- Analytics providers: Aggregated, anonymized usage analytics
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
5. Children's Privacy
Our App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Opt out of non-essential communications at any time

7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
