Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Circassian App (the "App") operated by Social Ascension LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. License to Use
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes, subject to these Terms.
2. Accounts
You may need to create an account to use certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at Carson@circassianapp.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
3. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
The App offers free access with optional paid features:
- Monthly subscription: $7.99/month -- unlimited hearts and premium features
- Annual subscription: $45.00/year -- all premium features
- Lifetime access: $99.00 one-time purchase
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your App Store or Google Play account settings. We do not offer refunds for partially used subscription periods, except as required by applicable law.
4. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use the App to transmit spam, malware, or unlawful content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or user accounts
- Reproduce or redistribute App content without written permission
- Use the App for any commercial purpose without our consent
5. Intellectual Property
All content in the App, including audio recordings, text, graphics, lesson content, and software, is owned by Social Ascension LLC or licensed to us, and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content is 100% accurate. Language learning outcomes depend on individual effort and cannot be guaranteed.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Social Ascension LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Our total liability to you for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your license to use the App ends immediately.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of competent jurisdiction in the United States.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
