Short answer

Good night in Circassian is Уи жэщ фIыуэ. (Wi zheshch f'ywe.) in Kabardian and Уичэщ шIу. (Wicheshch sh'u.) in Adyghe. You say it when you leave someone’s house late, or before going to bed.

The answer to good night is the same phrase, often followed by “see you tomorrow”: Пщэдей дызэрылъэгъунщ! in Kabardian, Неущы тызэIукIэн. in Adyghe.

The course uses them for different moments. Good evening is a hello: in lesson 16 you say it when you arrive at a friend’s house in the evening. Good night is a goodbye: you say it when it’s late and you’re leaving. Both follow the same pattern as good morning: “your”, the time of day, and “good”.
