Method
- Salt the chicken pieces and brown them in butter on all sides; set aside.
- Fry the onion in the same pan until soft and golden.
- Stir in the flour and cook for a minute.
- Return the chicken, add a cup of water, cover and simmer 25 minutes until tender.
- Crush the garlic with salt; stir it in with the soured cream, red pepper and savory.
- Simmer uncovered 5–8 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken. Serve with paste or bread.
