Spring is гъатхэ in both dialects; winter is щIымахуэ in Kabardian and кIымаф in Adyghe. The seasons and weather words are below, with audio.
Spring is one of the few words that Kabardian (East Circassian) and Adyghe (West Circassian) write the same way; most of the other season and weather words differ a little or a lot. Here they are as the Circassian app teaches them, from its “Seasons & Weather” and “Elements” units.
Every word here is a word the app teaches, checked against a second source: the Kabardian–Russian dictionary (Apazhev and Kokov, 2008), the app’s Adyghe dictionary, the app’s audio course (its scripts were reviewed by a native speaker of each dialect) or the Kabardian and Adyghe Wikipedias. A word that could not be checked this way is not on the page.

Good to know
Summer and winter end in “day”. The app’s lesson notes break гъэмахуэ into гъэ, “season”, and махуэ, “day”, and щIымахуэ into щIы, “earth”, and махуэ. The Kabardian Wikipedia’s calendar article splits the four seasons the same way: гъа-тхэ, гъэ-махуэ, бжьы-хьэ, щIы-махуэ.
The world and the weather. Kabardian дунейр, “weather”, is the world itself: the Kabardian–Russian dictionary gives дунейр къызэIыхьащ for “the weather has turned bad” (p. 259).
